S1:  Joe demonstrates the distinct differences between fishing a curly tailed worm vs a straight tail version, both of which are deadly in certain situations.   Berkley's new hand pour Curl Tail Worm is the featured lure.  The superiority of a hand poured worm is also discussed.

S2:  Small isolated sandy beaches can be surprising hotspots for summer muskies on many Canadian Shield Lakes.  Joe discusses how to locate these little gems and how to fish them.  Featured lure is a Buchertail Mag Tinsel in black rainbow pattern.

Segment One:   The Old North Bay Trick.     On a cold early spring day Joe slips up into a quiet protected shallow north bay and works the inside edge of the weedline for early prespawn bass.

Segment Two:   Topwater Terrific!    Joe & special guest Spence Petros chase summer evening muskies with topwater lures.

Segment Three:   Spence's 9 pm Topwater Musky.   Three nights in a row, guest Spence Petros tags a last light musky on a TopRaider.


Show 10:   Air Dates - March 6/7, 2010

Segment One:  Finesse Jig & Craw.    Joe reveals an entirely different approach to the classic jig & craw -- more aptly suited for clear water smallmouths.

Segment Two:   Crankbaits, Wind & Early Season Bass.  Straight out of Joe's classic book "Crankbait Secrets", he demonstrates how to pick largemouths and smallies off of wave pounded points.

Segment Three:  Figure 8 Fine Points.   Spence Petros and Joe discuss the fine points of figure 8ing muskies successfully.  Joe hooks up with a dandy boatside musky in the process.


Show 11:   Air Dates - March 13/14, 2010

Segment One:  Speed Fishing Heavy Weight Tubes.   Windy conditions and bottom tight deep water bass require some control.  Joe solves the problem by fishing a heavier 3/8 to 1/2 oz weight jig inside a Berkley Power Tube.

Segment Two:  Crankin' Weed Flat Bass.   Largemouths really utilize weedy flats throughout the year.  Joe discusses how to find bass on a flat, and what are the best ways to catch them.

Segment Three:  Last Light 'Lungin'.    Guest Spence Petros has caught a last light, 9 pm musky on a TopRaider three nights in a row.  Can he make it four?


Show 12:  Air Dates - March 20/21, 2010

Segment One:  Chiggin' Deep Water Smallies.   Joe reveals the tricks to finding and catching deep gin clear water bronzebacks, and how to rig Berkley's Chigger Craw for maximum effectiveness.

Segment Two:  Mixed Bag Bass On Jerk Shads.   Berkley's Gulp Jerk Shad is tearin' up both largemouth and smallmouth along a stretch of shoreline and flats. 

Segment Three:  Guest Spence Petros continues is streak of luck with last light topwater muskies.  


Show 13:  Air Dates - March 28/29, 2010

Segment One:   Woody Cover Craw.   Smallies are located in deep woody cover.  It takes a self weedless Texas style craw to catch 'em.

Segment Two:  Clean Bottom Jig & Craw.  Mid lake rock humps with clean hard bottom don't require a weedless hook system.  Joe goes after these fish with a basic open hook jig rigged with a Power Craw.

Segment Three:  Goldilocks Muskies.   Special guest Spence Petros takes a special colored Mag Tinsel from Joe's tackle box and starts catching muskies on it.  He doesn't want to give it back.  It gets a nickname "Goldilocks".
